Richard Cagliarini
Richard Cagliarini is a distinguished squash coach based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
In 2017, Richard was honored with the Eddie French Junior Coach of the Year Award by Squash & Racquetball Victoria, recognising his exceptional contributions to junior squash coaching.
Under his mentorship, young athletes have achieved significant milestones. Notably, in 2022, his student Tina Ma clinched the Under 13 Australian Junior Open title, a testament to Richard's effective coaching and dedication.
Richard's coaching career includes international experience; in 2008, he coached the Australian team at the inaugural World University Squash Championships, further highlighting his expertise and commitment to the sport.
Karen Cagliarini
Karen Cagliarini, a former World No. 36 squash professional, has dedicated over three decades to coaching, significantly contributing to the sport's development in Australia.
Karen's coaching excellence was recognised in 2016 when she received the Eddie French Junior Coach of the Year Award from Squash & Racquetball Victoria.
She has held prestigious positions, including Head Coach at the Victorian Institute of Sport and National Junior Women's Coach, mentoring numerous players to state, national, and international success.
Beyond coaching, Karen contributes to the sport's governance as a member of the World Squash Coaching Commission and serves on the Board of Directors for Squash & Racquetball Victoria.
